Application process:
Competitive application in September of each year. Applications are reviewed and students selected by Student Executive Board.
Program elements:
Student run organization with M2 Student Executive Board. Oversight by Director of Global Health and Education under the Department of Academic and Student Programs. Board of Advisors composed of faculty and past trip goers for additional institu
tional memory and to assist Executive Board. Pre trip curriculum, Pre and post surveys of students, optional research component, in-country clinical care, public health projects. Use of mobile EMR. Pharmacy students and pharmacist also attend the trips where school breaks align.
