Application process:
1. Each trip is organized by student travelers and is submitted for approval by the International Education Advisory Board. Two faculty-directed trips are exempt from this process, and those are trips to Jamaica & Swaziland as they don’t require annual approval.
2. A prerequisite ‘Healthcare in Developing Countries’ course is required to participate in an international elective.

Program elements:
All trips have different elements, however, they must be a minimum of two weeks in length and have a medical focus in underserved regions of the world
